CONTEXT

For the second consecutive year, 17mars is partnering with Arte to create its on-air branding for the end-of-year holiday season.

CHALLENGE

To design an original on-air package, along with a series of three idents. The goal is to speak to the childlike side that still exists in every adult, with a touch of impertinence.

SOLUTION

We built on the knitting universe developed in 2024, while reactivating a strong icon from the channel’s history: the sheep. Staged within a fully woollen world, it is placed in slightly incongruous situations that echo the spirit of the holiday season. The stop-motion approach, combined with carefully crafted sound design, gives the whole project a feel that is both nostalgic and offbeat.
