Un si grand soleil
For the opening credits of a new daily soap opera on France 2, we assembled a mosaic of subjective shots evoking spontaneous memories of days past to resonate with viewers on an emotional level.
We created a prism effect, with facets that reflect light as they deconstruct and reconstruct each image, much like the “crack” of light off of a precious stone. The prism also creates a visual framework for the fractured nature of life and the human quest to forge connections with others.
France 2 deployed the show’s identity widely on billboards, in street marketing campaigns, and on promotional items.
